1.The site should be a good square or a rectangle if possible with South-West corner equal to 90 degrees.
2.North , East or North-East roads would do more good with two gates, one in the East and the other in North. Besides the North-East, South-West or North-West blocks are also good.
3.Ground levels should be slopping towards North-East and the levels in the South-West should be higher than all other sides.
4.An open well or a bore well should essentially be dug in the North-East, before the construction takes place.
5.While designing the Flats, more open space should be left in the East and North compared to West and South.
6.No wells or bore wells should be dug in South-East, North-West or South-West.
7.Underground construction should be kept under the northern or eastern portion of the complex, and not in southern or western side.
8.Open area in North-East should be used for lawns, bore wells and pumps.
9.Stair case should not be higher than South-West.
10.Balconies towards North, East and North-East are advisable, its not advisable to have balconies in South and West.
11.Kitchens are preferred in South-East or North-West.
1. The necessary environmental requirements for the particular type of factory should be taken care before selecting the plot for construction of Factories.
2. The main gate of factory should be kept in the East, North or North-East of the plot. All other doors can be kept in North-East, East, North or North-West. If you are having a south Facing Gate alwlays keep it closed after useage.
3.The guardroom of the factory should be in North-West of the Northern gate and to the South-East of Eastern gate.
4.There must be open space in the North- East. The land of the factory should be elevated in South-West.
5.The store of the factory should be in the South-West.
6.The North-West corner should be used for car-parking.
7.The administrative block should either be in the North or in the East.
8.The South-East and North-West corner should be selected for the staff.
9.For lavatory and toilet the North-West or South-East corner are most suitable.
10.For heavy machinery South, West or South-West corner is best and these directions are also suitable for raw materials.
11.Semi-finished goods should be kept in the West. With this scheme, the finished product will have uninterrupted sale.
12.Transformers, boilers, oil engines, generators etc. should be kept in South-East corner.
13.The North-East portion of the factory should be lower than the South-West portion.
14.The production process should commence in the South-West and the final product should emerge from North-East.
15.South side of the Factory there should not be any river or bond. If a public road is between the river and factory the vastu dosa will get nullified.
16.The canteens may be preferred at South East corner.
17.The Top officials cabins may be placed at South West.
18.Having Fountains or water pond on the northeast will produce more money flow.
19.Leaving the centre space empty and constructing the building on square will produce more money and man power. It would generate workers satisfaction as if they are working in a secured environment.
