Main Switch

The junction of electric cables of the house should be in the South-East corner along with the main switch

Main Gate

The main gate is dependent upon the direction on which the plot lies. However, Both-East and West directions are considered best for the main gate of the house. But if are having a south facing gate after usage always keep it closed.

Open Space

In every plot more open space should be kept in North, East and North-East than in South and West.

Portico

It should be in the North-East and its height should be less than that of the main roof.

Servant Quarters
These should be in the North-West corner. But load on the north and east walls should be kept at a minimum. This will keep the servants also happy

Study Room

The North-East corner is best for a study room. While studying yo should face north or east.

Safe(Cash)

Petty cash for daily expenses should be kept in the North. Jewelry and other valuables should be kept inside a safe in the South. The safe should face north and open toward the north or east. It is inauspicious to have a safe opening to the south—this will cause a loss of money. Don’t keep the safe in southwest , southeast corner, and northeast corner.

Trees

Highly grown trees should not be in North and East but in South and West only.

Well & Bore well

Northeast is the ideal place . – brings happiness and wealth
East – good wealth
South – Misery to girls in the family
West – Disturbance to male members
Northwest – More enemies
Southwest – Father <> son misunderstanding
SouthEast – Death fearness

Overhead Water Tank

Southwest or west sides are good . Southwest is ideal one.

Mirrors should be placed on the north or east walls, not on the south or west walls. Do not keep broken mirrors in the house.

Clocks should be placed on the west, north, or east walls.

Clothes should be washed in the southeast corner of the house.

Medicine should be kept in the northeast corner of the house, and a person should face northeast while taking it. It is best to nurse those who are ill in the southwest corner of the house, although the northwest corner is also good.

Rainwater and wastewater should flow from the northeast side. It should flow west to east or south to north.

A television can be placed in the southeast side of a room.
